And since I am part japanese I could consider it a manga as well.

Dragon Ball Ryn

Basically a AU after the encounter with Black Frieza where in this timeline Goku would disappear without a trace, even giving Whis an entire banquet

(With the help of hercule giving him a million zeni)

to not tell Vegeta and the others where he went, going to the Grand Priest to beg of him to teach him for a while with the payment of Earth Delicacy.

And when I mean for a while, I mean for 2 years.

During those 2 years, Frieza took advantage of it and decided to go back to Earth so he could rub it in Goku's face that he took it over.

During that time Frieza took out Bulma to rid of the smartest person on Earth to not get countered by a plan.

He also captures Gohan by surprise considering he's the current strongest on the planet, Chi Chi, Goten, Videl and Pan are being hidden and protected by Piccolo.

Vegeta and Trunks are also hidden somewhere, rummaging through Bulma's old stuff to see if there is a way to beat Frieza.

Beerus and Whis are unable to interfere, mainly cause reversing time currently, would erase Whis.

Beerus can't kill Frieza, because Frieza didn't destroy Earth, so it wouldn't count as keeping balance and even though Beerus has no use of earth right now he is sparing the planet from destroying it and is just hoping for Goku to come back from the Grand Priest's training so he could beat Frieza.

Goku could've used the Time Chamber, but wouldn't be strong enough still, considering he needs a strong enough partner, it only has a year worth of food, and since as of right now Goku is strong enough that he could accidentally destroy the chamber, as we seen with Vegeta destroying the chamber with his Ki alone.
