New website now live for beta testing!

Hello everyone!
I started to rewrite The Animator (nearly exactly) two years ago. I needed to use more modern frameworks to help me make the website more maintainable.
It turned out to be a lot of work. I had to rewrite nearly everything.
It doesn't look like much has changed. This is intentional because I wanted to move everything over before I started making improvements. In theory, the new version will be much easier for me to update.
Anyway, I'd love you to take a look at the beta website. I have spent a lot of time testing it and squashing bugs. You should hopefully find it a bit quicker, slicker and more reliable than the main website. If we don't find any major bugs during this beta test, then I'll replace the old site soon!
The beta is over at next.theanimator.co.uk - I hope you like it!

will you make the name tag colors on the main page same page as the gallery. They're off.............

I LOVE THIS!
I know it's small but I love the folders being visible without having to pull them down. It makes making comics so easy. Hope all goes well Dan, and thank you!

When you switch between tools while drawing, the frame zooms back out for some reason

when I click on a different page it makes a new tab
is that normal

wow I like it

will there be more interactive features in the upcoming new version? like for example, will we have more tools to use in the editor such as a lasso tool?
or maybe the ability to do collaborative animations with one another?
or the ability to favorite animations that others have made and have them be in a folder for people to look back on instead of trying to remember the title of it to search it up?
speaking of searching up, will we ever be able to search up titles of old community threads?
i apologize if these are a lot of questions, but i love how the site looks so far! it feels a lot more colorful!!

lots of things
None of those things are coming soon - sorry. I have some big behind-the-scenes things to sort out before I can do much visible stuff.
However:
ability to favorite animations that others have made and have them be in a folder for people to look back on
You can now filter the gallery by your own reactions. I have some ideas about integrating that into studio pages too.

Hey um, Dan, sometimes when I animate and I’m gonna redo, like a whole chunk of art gets deleted and I have to re-redo the painting

i know this question may not contribute to asking about the future of the site and all but i'm curious, are you able to see the exact date of when an account joins TheAnimator? if so are you able to tell me when this account first joined so i can find out when i initially joined
