and grug is a caveman.

the two things these characters have in common is they always win

(except for canon grug)

surprise attack uses the element of surprise

anything surprising that is to his advantage will be to his advantage

if its surprising he wins, he wins.

if its not surprising he wins it would be surprising if he wins because we don't find it surprising anymore making it able to become surprising

he can use this power to: attack from openings, win, and cheat death.

and for grug

if it ryhmes with grug he wins

anything in grugs favor ryhmes with grug resulting in a positive outcome

the only things that dont ryhme with grug is anything that negativly impacts him
