what is a dream?

is it a goal or an aspiration? something that you want but out of reach? they say to work towards your dream yet they aren't real. It's an imaginary goalpost you place upon yourself. but why and what?

I realized the concept of a dream was never fully grasped. It's stuck between fantasy and reality with so many differences.

this is just something I wrote because I was confused about why we use the word dream for a goal we have because it implies it can't be done, as it isn't real.

anyways I'm stuck between studying to become a lawyer or drawing sans Undertale 24/7 lol.

I realized I was very cringe and did some bad stuff here. guys trust it was a phase. I am now uh mature.

i once heard that it's your brain recapping the events that happened from the past few days and some other things but i doubt it

this is what i found in an article:

.

A dream is a series of images, thoughts, and sensations that happen in the mind during sleep. Dreams can be realistic, confusing, or vivid.

How do dreams happen?

Dreams are a result of neural activity in the brain.

The brain combines strange and familiar scenarios to create dreams.

Dreams can involve all of the senses, including sight, sound, taste, and smell.

When do dreams happen?

Dreams happen during sleep, most often during REM (rapid eye movement) sleep.

People spend about two hours dreaming per night.

Each dream lasts around 5–20 minutes, but can feel much longer.

What can dreams be like?

Dreams can be vivid and realistic, or strange and confusing.

Dreams can make you feel happy, sad, or scared.

Dreams can seem so real that you may question whether you're dreaming or not.

What do dreams mean?

Experts don't have a lot of concrete answers about why we dream or what they mean.

Some theories suggest that dreams may be linked to what's going on in your waking life.

i ffound something else too:

.

Is it true if you see someone in your dream they miss you?

No. Dreaming about someone is a reflection of your own thoughts and subconscious feelings versus an indication of how they are feeling or thinking about you. That's why it is important not to make inferences about what others might think based on your dreams.

.

wait nvm this has nothing to do wit da topic ;-;
