i was workign on this totally epic drawing and like

the editor just stopped working

like, it just says "Animation failed to load - Sorry, your animation failed to load - It might be a temporary network problem. It may succeed if you try again."

And like

it kinda just disappeared.

if you publish a drawing as private it won't go away and you can still work on it, unfortunately when you set it to public it won't show up on the gallery, but it will still show up on your profile.

u can make it appear in the gallery by making a comic

Starry never saved it, like ever

she just kept it in the editor

cause she wanted it to show up when she uploaded it

You can use the "Report a problem" link in the footer to get in touch. If you tell me the animation ID or even just the title of the animation, I might be able to rescue it.

Not sure if you deleted the broken animation, but I had a look through your recent animations and they all seem to have saved ok.

Ohwait. Are you literally not saving it at all because you want it to go to the front of the gallery?

That's not a great idea - because you're relying on your browser storage keeping it safe. If your browser decides you've used too much space then stuff will just go missing.

It's a common complaint/source of confusion around animations not going to the front when you update them. It's something I'm looking at.

ye if u want it to go to the front just convert it into a comic

Yeah, I knew it was risky and didn't think anything would happen until it was too late :(

but at least I know the comic thing now
