-bible study(required for my church, not rly an activity but it takes up so much of my time that i'm including it 🤩)

im a flute in marching and tenor 1 in our jazz 2 group. though i was a bari sax last year and i miss it so so much :(
-yeah, idk how i'm in these and still doing ok in school 😭 (NO IM NOT. I KEEP NEGLECTING SOME THINGS CUZ ITS TOO MUCH ALLKFDJ)
-it could be different for your school?? this semester i have 5 classes, and 3 of them are either band or PE. so i only have to really study for less than half of my classes which ig makes it easier???? IDK but hang in there too 😊

I play clarinet for everything 😭 though I play trumpet 1 *part* in jazz. On the clarinet (no one can hear me 😭)
My brother plays tenor sax!! And I've become friends with our school's Bari sax player so bot of those instruments seem cool in my head 💖🤩
Jazz 2? Do you have multiple jazz courses at your school? We just have one
The way they scheduled things this year at my school is that we have four blocks a day and A/B days so we have 8 classes all at once. So I have all my core classes, art, band, Spanish and right now a study hall that was drivers ed for first marking period (now ended). It actually sucks ass like I liked semester scheduling last year cuz I could take my core classes more spread out. And I could take more art classes

also like.. half of our jazz trumpet players switched to trumpet from either clarinet or flute so.. you never know 👀
Omg they sound like cool people 🤩 we have a small amt of tenor and bari saxes here but all of them are nice ppl
we used to have only 1 jazz program when there were less students (my school is super new, i think it was still getting built during covid), but over time more of us wanted to join and we ended up having to split into 2 groups
ofc as a tiny underexperienced freshman i was put into the 2nd group 😔
Oh yea that's different.. we also have 4 classes a day and 8 classes total, but it's split into 2 semesters(like your school did last year?). i have 5 classes because jazz counts as a "0 period" (i have to go to school an hour early 🥲).
that does suck. i'd actually collapse if i had to do all my classes at once bc i'm already barely handling 5 of them

i kinda want to quit some things too bc its all just piling up, but its also hard to quit once ive started smth 😭
